1 lg onion,diced
1/2 green bell pepper,chopped
3 cn tomatoes (28-oz ea.),Crushed
2 cn dark red kidney beans -
-(40-oz each,), drained
3 T chili powder (or),To Taste
1 t salt
1 T sugar (optional)
Heat the oilve oil in a very large frying pan or Dutch oven over
medium heat. Saute the onions and pepper until tender, about 5 to 7
minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients and bring the mixture to a boil. Lower
the heat and simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
