Main Ingredients:
1 c. cold water
2/3 c. elastic dry starch
3 c. boiling water
1 c. Ivory soap flakes
Few drops oil of cloves (preservative)
Vegetable color or Calamine Pigment
Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
Dissolve elastic starch in cold water. Smooth lumps and then add boiling water. Stir constantly. Thicken mixture but do not boil more than 1 minute. Add rest of ingredients (either hot or cold). Use wrapping paper, newsprint, or glazed paper.
