1 c Wholewheat breadcrumbs 1 c Wholewheat flour
1 sm Onion, finely chopped 1 t Oregano
1 T Natural soy sauce (or to 1/4 t Basil
Combine the ingredients well in a large bowl, kneading the mixture a
little to help it hold together. Shape the mixture into balls and
shallow- or deep-fry them. Use these with spaghetti or bake them in
the oven with a nice Italian-style tomato sauce (see recipe in this
conference). Bake at 350ø for about half an hour.
