Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

8 oz Peach slices ds Cinnamon, ground
1 1/2 ts Cornstarch 1/4 ts Almond extract
3/4 ts Lemon juice; freshly squeezd Cake, white or yellow; slicd

Drain peaches, reserving 1/2 cup syrup. Combine reserved syrup,
cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon in saucepan. Cook over medium
heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; allow to boil 1
minute. Add almond extract and peach slices; heat thoroughly. Serve
warm over cake slices.
