Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
4 sl Swiss cheese, cut 3/4 inch 1 ea Egg, beaten
-thick 2/3 c Bread crumbs
Salt to taste 1 c Shortening
1/2 c Flour
Sprinkle cheese with salt. Dip slices first in flour, then in beaten
egg, fry quickly in hot shortening until golden brown. Origin:
