2 Onions; chopped 16 oz Canned crushed tomatoes
1 Green pepper; chopped Salt, pepper, herbs to taste
Garlic, to taste 2 tb Ketchup (opt)
1 tb Vegetable oil
Sasute onions, green pepper and garlic in oil for 10 minutes over
medium heat. Add tomatoes and seasonings, and simmer for about 30
minutes. Serve over pasta or grains, or use in any recipe that calls
for sauce.
