Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

2 c Fresh strawberries -- 2 ts Cinnamon
Sliced 1/4 ts Nutmeg
3 c All-purpose flour -- sifted 4 Eggs -- beaten
2 c Sugar 1 1/4 c Vegetable oil
1 ts Salt 1 c Pecans -- chopped
1 ts Baking soda

In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, salt, soda and
spices. In a separate smaller bowl, blend eggs and oil, then
gradually stir into dry ingredients alternately with strawberries.
Stir in nuts. Pour batter into two greased, floured pans. Bake in
preheated 350 oven 45-50 minutes.
