Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 ea No. 2 1/2 can peach -cup granulated sugar
Halves, drained From peaches
Whole cloves 1/2 c Vinegar
1 c Peach syrup drained 1/2 1 ea 3" stick cinnamon
Week or so ahead: Stud each peach half with 3 or 4 cloves. Simmer
with rest of ingredients 3 or 4 min. Cool; then store in
refrigerator. Serve with poultry, meat, or fish. Nice too to serve as
dessert, with vanilla ice cream.
