6 tb Butter 2 ts Baking powder
2 c Sugar; (divided 1 c. 1 c.) 3/4 c Milk
3/4 c Flour 2 c Sliced peaches
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter (or margarine) in bottom
of 2-quart baking dish. Combine 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and
salt. Add milk and stir. Pour batter over butter, but do not stir.
Combine peaches and 1 cup sugar and spoon over batter. Do Not stir.
Bake for 1 hour.
