Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 Box macaroni -- elbow 7 oz 1 ds Pepper
3 tb Butter or margarine 1 c Milk
3 tb All-purpose flour 1 c Shredded cheddar cheese -- 4
1/4 ts Salt oz Chopped
Cook the macaroni according to package directions. Drain; set aside
and keep warm. In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add
flour, salt and pepper; stir to make a smooth paste. Gradually add
milk, stirring constantly. Heat and stir until thickened. Remove from
the heat; stir in cheese until melted. Pour over macaroni and mix
well. Yield: 4 servings.
