2 c Water
1 c Milk
3 tb Butter or margarine
2 c Chopped green cabbage
1 c Finely shredded carrots
2 2/3 c Instant potato flakes
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
In medium saucepan combine water, milk, and butter. Bring to a boil
over medium heat. Add cabbage and carrots and reduce heat to low.
Simmer 3 to 4 minutes until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat
and stir in potato flakes with fork until mixture is well blended.
Stir in salt and pepper. 8 servings.
