1/4 c Unsweetened cocoa powder 1 Jar sauerkraut, rinsed well,

4 oz Unsweetened chocolate square 1/2 c Currants or raisins

Preparation Time: 0:50 1. Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl,
beat butter and granulated sugar with an electric mixer on medium
until light and fluffy, about 2 mins. Add vanilla, cocoa, and melted
chocolate; beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after
each addition. 2. Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda,
and salt to mix. add to chocolate mixture alternately with
buttermilk, beating until just combined. Stir in sauerkraut,
currants, pecans, and chocolate chips. 3. Spread batter in a greased
12 x 18-inch sheet cake pan. Bake 25 to 30 mins, or until a cake
tester inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool before cutting
into 49 (1 1/2 x 3-inch) bars.
