Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1/3 c Shortening
1/4 c Sugar
1/2 c Molasses
1 x Egg
1 1/2 c Flour
1/2 ts Soda
1/4 ts Salt
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Mace
1 ts Nutmeg
1/4 ts Ginger
1/4 ts Allspice
2 1/2 c Mixed candied fruit
Heat oven to 325. Mix shortening, sugar, molasses egg. Stir dry
ingredients; blend into shortening mixture. Stir in fruit. Drop by
teaspoonfuls about 1" apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake
12-15 minutes.
