4 tb Butter or margarine 2 1/2 c Milk
4 oz Dried beef -- torn into 1 c Sour cream
-pieces 2 tb Parsley -- finely chopped
2 tb Onion -- finely chopped 4 English muffins -- split
3 tb Flour
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the beef and
onion and saute until the onion is soft, 5 to 10 minutes. Add the
flour, stir for 1 minute, and then gradually add the milk. Cook,
stirring, until the sauce is smooth and thick, 5 to 10 minutes more.
Stir in sour cream and parsley and cook until heated through, 1
minute. Serve on toasted english muffin halves.
