1 1/2 c Sugar 1 ts Ground cinnamon
1/2 c Butter, softened 1/2 ts Baking soda
2 Eggs 1/2 ts Ground cloves
2 c Flour 1/4 ts Salt
1 ts Baking powder 1 c Applesauce
In a mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time,
beating well after each addition. Combine dry ingredients; add to
the creamed mixture alternately with applesauce. Mix just until
combined. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
