Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

18 oz Flour 2 tb Oil
3 tb Sugar 2 tb Butter
Salt 2 tb Sugar
1 pk Yeast 2 tb Poppy Seeds
2 1/8 c Milk Dried, seedles prunes
1 Egg

Make a yeast dough out of flour, 1 tb sugar, salt, yeast, milk, egg
and oil.

Let rise and then roll out, 2-3 cm (1") thick and cut with a round
cutter into 5 cm (2") diameter circles, let rise again.

Fill each circle with one prune, pinch good on edges. Heat butter and
sugar in a skillet and add 1 cup of water; add the dumplings and
cover and simmer 5-8 min on medium.

Put the dumplings on platter and melt butter and mix with sugar and
poppy seeds and pour over dumplings. Serve warm.
