Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
5 lg Tart apples; peeled, 1/2 c Sugar
-cored and diced 1 1/2 c Apple cider
-(Gravensteins, Jonathans, 2 tb Apple brandy or Calvados
-Spartans are all great) -(optional)
1 Lemon; juice
Process apples with lemon juice in a food processor using the steel
blade. When the mixture is smooth, add sugar, apple cider and/or the
liquor. Process until everything is well blended. Freeze in an ice
cream maker.
