Main Ingredients:
1 egg1/2 pint milk1 Tbls. sugargrated nutmegfew drops of vanilla essence
Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
Warm the milk to body temperature.Beat the egg and sugar lightly together, and add the milk and vanilla essence.Strain into a greased pie dish and grate a little nutmeg over the top.Place the pie dish in a larger pan, and pour water in the pan up to halfway up the pie dish.Bake in a very moderate oven for 40 minutes until set.
