Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1/3 c Rice, short-grain, 1/2 c Sugar
-- uncooked 1/8 ts Vanilla
1 qt Milk 2 tb Butter
Recipe by: Alison Meyer
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Sprinkle rice evenly over the bottom of a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mix
milk, sugar, and vanilla, pour over rice, sprinkle with nutmeg, and
dot with butter. Bake uncovered for 2 1/2 hours, stirring every 15
minutes for the first 2 hours. Serve warm.
