1/2 lb Noodles, 1/4-inch wide -grated
1/4 lb Unsalted butter; melted Salt to taste
1 c Heavy cream; warmed 1/4 ts Freshly ground pepper
3/4 c Parmesan cheese; freshly
Have a large bowl warmed and ready before you cook the noodles.
[Cook the noodles according to package directions.] Drain the cooked
noodles and put them into the bowl. Quickly add remaining
ingredients, tossing briskly to coat all the noodles, and serve at
once.
Variation: Noodles with poppy seeds. Omit the Parmesan cheese and
add 3 tablespoons poppy seeds.
