Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
4 c (2 pints) washed, halved 1 qt Unflavored yogurt
-strawberries, sliced 1 tb Vanilla
-bananas or peeled peaches 1 1/2 c Sugar
-or nectarines 1/4 ts Salt
Puree fruit in blender until smooth (makes 3 cups puree). Combine
sugar, vanilla and salt in large bowl. Stir in pureed fruit. Pour
into 1 gallon freezer. Cover. Freeze with ice-salt mixture in
proportions recommended for freezer. When yogurt is frozen, pour off
brine. Remove cover and scrape frozen yogurt from dasher.
