Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

-Ground in meat grinder. 4 c Sugar
(Grandma usually used 10 c Chopped, peeled apples
-venison or antelope rump 2 T Cinnamon
-roasts or 1 1/2 t Nutmeg
Other normally less tender 4 c Water
-cuts, salted and roasted 2 c Vinegar
-'till 2 c Seedless raisins

Combine all ingredients in LARGE pan and boil gently until apples are
tender but still firm. Either use directly in pies or cookies or can
