Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

1/2 c Sugar 4 Eggs; slightly beaten
1/2 ts Salt 1/3 c Rice, instant
3 tb Chocolate milk mix, instant Whipped cream (opt.)
1 tb Coffee, instant Chocolate curls (opt.)
1 qt Milk; divided

Combine first 4 ingredients; gradually stir in 3/4 cup milk and blend
well. Add remaining milk, eggs, and rice; mix well. Pour into an 8"
square baking dish (1-1/2 qt. capacity). Set in a pan of hot water 1
inch deep. Bake at 350 degrees about 50 minutes.

Stir mixture twice during first 30 minutes of baking. Remove from
oven when a knife inserted 1 inch from edge of dish comes out clean.
Set on wire rack to cool. Chill; serve plain or garnish with whipped
cream and chocolate curls.
