Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

2 c Milk 1/3 c All-purpose flour
2 tb Butter or margarine 1/4 ts Salt
2 Square unsweetened baking 2 ea Egg yolks -- beaten
Chocolate squares -- 1 oz 1/2 ts Vanilla extract
Each Whipping cream -- optional
2/3 c Sugar

In the top of a double boiler, heat milk, butter and chocolate until
the chocolate melts. Chocolate may appear curdled. combine sugar,
flour and salt. Sprinkle over chocolate mixture. Do not stir, Cover
the mixture and cook on med.-low for 20 min. With a spoon, beat
mixture until smooth. Quickly add egg yolks; beat well. Cook 2
additional minutes. Removes from the heat and stir in vanilla. Pour
into dessert glasses. Serve with whipped cream if desired. yield 4
servings.
