1/2 Head of cabbage, chopped
4 Scallions, chopped
2 tb Sugar
1 1/2 ts Pepper
1/2 c Vegetable oil
2 tb Sesame seed oil
6 ds Chinese hot oil
1 ts Salt
6 ts White vinegar
3 pk Ramen noodles, chicken flavr
2 ts Sesame seeds
2 oz Slivered almonds (toast for
15 minutes in 300 degree
Oven)
Mix sugar, pepper, vegetable oil, sesame seed oil, Chinese oil, salt,
and vinegar in a large bowl. Add cabbage and scallions; toss and let
marinate for 1 to 2 hours. Squeeze packages of uncooked Ramen
noodles to crush. Add to cabbage mixture, along with the sesame seeds
and slivered almonds. Add packs of noodle seasoning to suit your
