Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
2 1/2 c. fresh or frozen strawberries
1/2 c. dates
HEAT strawberries and dates until strawberries are thawed (if frozen) and dates are
tender. WHIZ in the blender. CHILL. Will thicken as it chills.
VARIATION: For less sweet jam, use 1/2 c. crushed pineapple. ADD 2 tbsp. arrowroot
powder while blending, and COOK until thick.
