-Phoenix, AZ 85014, $5 1/2 c Lard (for lightest results
2 c Flour -use lard not shortening)
1 t Baking powder 3/4 c Water
Mix together flour, salt, and baking powder. Cut in lard, add water
sparingly, until soft dough forms. Flour board and roll out dough. Cut
cakes 6 inches across and bake on lightly greased griddle. Turn
frequently to brown on both sides.
