1 c Butter or margarine -- 2 c All-purpose flour
Softened 1 c Quick-cooking oats
3/4 c Packed brown sugar 1 ts Baking soda
3/4 c Sugar 1 ts Ground cinnamon
1 ea Egg 1 c Cooked pumpkin -- or canned
1 ts Vanilla extract 1 1/2 c Semisweet chocolate chips
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla.
Combine flour, oats, baking soda and cinnamon; stir into creamed
mixture alternately with pumpkin. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by
tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 deg. for 12-13
minutes or until lightly browned. Yield: 4 dozen
