Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 1/4 c Sugar pn Salt
1 ts Butter 1/2 c Milk
1 c Flour Sweetened blackberries or
1 ts Baking powder - cherries
Cream 1/2 c sugar and butter; blend in flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir in milk; pour into greased 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Cover with
blackberries. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
Sprinkle top with remaining sugar; bake for 5 to 10 minutes longer.
