Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
4 Tart apples, peeled, cored, 1 lb Bratwurst links, halved
-and sliced. (3 cups ) -crosswise
1 - 27 oz can sauerdraut, 1/4 c Packed brown sugar
-drained and snipped 1 ts Caraway seed
** %%%%% BRATWURST WITH APPLE KRAUT %%%%% **
In a crockery cooker, stir together all ingredients. Stir in 1/4 cup
water. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 3 - 4 hours. Makes 6
servings.
