1 Fryer chicken;(2 1/2 to 3 1/2 c Chili sauce;or catsup
-pounds), cut into serving 3 tb Worcestershire sauce;
-pieces, skin removed 1 ts Dry mustard;
1/4 c Water; 1/2 ts Pepper;
1/4 c Vinegar; 1 1/2 ts Salt;
3 tb Vegetable oil; 2 tb Onion; chopped (optional)
Preheat oven to 350* (moderate). Combine all ingedients except chicken in
saucepan, place over heat, and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Place chicken in a
large baking pan. Pour half of the barbecue sauce over chicken and bake,
uncovered, for about 45-60 minutes. Baste with remaining barbecue sauce
every 15 minutes during cooking.
