Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
2 tb Bacon drippings 1 c Water
2 c Okra, sliced Salt and pepper
2 c Corn, fresh 1/8 ts Sugar
4 lg Tomatoes, diced
In a skillet heat bacon drippings, add fresh okra and corn, saute for
a few minutes until tender crisp. Add tomatoes (diced) and water,
salt and pepper to taste. Add sugar and simmer for about 1 hour on
very low heat.
