2 lb (about 8) medium-sized
-yellow squash
2 oz Jar diced pimiento; drained
2 tb Water
2 tb Butter or margarine
1/4 ts Dried whole basil
1/4 ts Garlic powder
Salt pepper to taste
Wash squash, and cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices; place in a 2-quart
casserole. Sprinkle with pimientos. Add water, and dot with butter;
sprinkle with basil garlic powder. Cover with heavy-duty plastic
wrap, and microwave at HIGH for 12 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes.
Let stand, covered, 10 minutes before serving.
