Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 c Water 3/4 c Sour cream
1 c Chunky salsa -- divided 4 oz Green chiles -- chopped
1 1/2 c Instant rice 1 c Cheddar cheese -- shredded
Preheat oven to 350. In a medium saucepan, bring water and 1/2 cup
salsa to a boil. Stir in rice; remove from heat, cover and let stand
5 minutes. Stir in sour cream and remaining 1/2 cup salsa into the
rice. Pour into an 8" square baking pan. Spread green chilies over
tice and top with cheese. Bake 20 minutes.
