Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 tb Olive oil
1 lb Lean ground beef
1 1/2 c Onions -- chopped
2 Cloves garlic -- crushed
28 oz Tomatoes -- crushed
16 oz Sauerkraut -- drained
15 oz Pinto beans
14 1/2 oz Beef broth
4 tb Chili powder
1/4 ts Pepper
Heat oil in 3 quart saucepan. Brown meat, onions and garlic. Drain.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low.
Simmer, partially covered, for 25 to 30 minutes. 351 calories and 15
grams fat.
