Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 sm Onion -- chunked
1/3 c Orange Juice
2 tb Peanut Oil
2 ts Ground Anise Seeds
1 ts Turmeric
1 ts Curry Powder
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Ground Allspice
1/2 ts Ground Cinnamon
Combine the paste ingredients in a food processor or blender and
process until the onion is finely chopped and a thick puree forms.
Refrigerate the paste, covered, for up to 2 weeks.
