1 md Onion -- chopped 1/4 c Milk
3/4 c Celery -- sliced 3 c Chicken -- or turkey cooked
1/4 c Green pepper -- diced 1 cn Mushroom stems and pieces --
1/4 c Butter or margarine Drained
1/4 c All-purpose flour 8 ea Toast slices -- or pastry
1 ts Sugar Shells
1 1/2 c Chicken broth
In a skillet, saute the onion, celery and green pepper in butter until
tender. Stir in flour and sugar until a paste forms. Gradually stir in
broth. Bring to a boil; boil 1 min. Reduce heat. Add milk, turkey and
mushrooms; heat through. Serve either in pastry shells or over toast.
