2 sm Italian bread shells; such -total
-as boboli 8 sl (thin) onion; (red or white)
2 tb Reduced-fat mayonnaise; 1 Roasted red bell pepper;
2 tb Jalapepo cheese dip; -cut into 4 pieces
4 sl (thick) turkey breast; 6-oz 1/4 c Cilantro leaves;
Briefly hold the bread rounds over an open gas flame, turning once,
until they are lightly toasted on both sides, 30 - 40 seconds total.
Use a long, serrated knife to carefully slice each round in half
crosswise. Spread 4 slices with a portion of the mayonnaise and
cheese dip. Layer with meat, vegetables and cilantro. Close the
sandwiches and cilantro. Close the sandwiches and serve. Yield 4
servings.
