Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

1 c Flour 16 oz Sliced peaches, drained
1/2 c Sugar Water
1 1/2 ts Baking powder 1/4 c Packed brown sugar
1/4 ts Salt 2 tb Margarine
1/2 c Milk

Mix well flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk just
until blended. Spread in a greased 9 x 9 inch baking pan. Top with
peaches. Add enough water to reserved syrup to make 1 1/2 cup. Heat
with sugar and margarine until margarine melts and sugar dissolves.
Pour over peaches. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
