Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
2 1/2 c. rolled oats 4 1/2?5 c. hot water
3/4 c. cornmeal 1/4 c. dates
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. salt
WHIZ first six ingredients in about half the water, then add remaining water. LET batter
sit for 10 minutes. BAKE in hot waffle iron for 8?10 minutes. Do not peek! May be frozen,
and rewarmed in the toaster. YIELDS: 4 large waffles.
