1 c Butter or margarine -- 2 tb Milk
Softened 1 3/4 c All-purpose flour
1 c Sugar 1/4 ts Baking powder
1/2 c Packed dark brown sugar 1 c Walnuts -- chopped
1 ts Vanilla extract 1 c Semisweet chocolate chips --
1 ea Egg 6 Ounces
1/3 c Baking cocoa
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, sugars and vanilla. Beat in
egg. Add cocoa and milk. Combine flour and baking powder; fold into
creamed mixture with walnuts and chocolate chips. Roll teaspoonfuls
of dough into balls; place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350 deg. for 10-12 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before
removing to wire racks to cool. Yield: 3-4 dozen
