Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1/4 c Butter
1 c Sugar
1 Egg -- beaten
3 lg Peaches -- peeled/chopped
1 c Flour, all-purpose
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/2 ts Cinnamon
pn Salt
1/2 c Walnuts -- chopped
Preheat 325F. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat well. Add
peaches. Sift together flour, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Stir
into peach mixutre. Pour batter into buttered 9-inch square pan.
Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake 35-40 min or until center is set.
