1 1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1/4 ts Nutmeg
8 Carrots -- sliced
4 Sweet potatoes -- peeled,

Melt the fat in a Dutch oven or casserole and brown the beef. Add the
water, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Cover and cook over low heat 1 1/2
